Being a mom means getting mad that your husband doesn't get upset about the same things you do.
Being a mom means serving as a personal assistant. Often to people shorter than four feet tall.
Being a mom means saying, "that's not nice."
Being a mom means teaching that every second of every day isn't supposed to be fun; that there are days when rooms have to be cleaned, dishes picked up, and laundry done.
Being a mom means making lists and schedules and posting them all around the house and on the refrigertor.
Being a mom means keeping a flashlight handy for looking down throats.
Being a mom means knowing you have to respect yourself or else your children won't respect you.
Being a mom means teaching kids to respect themselves.
